Limits on printing, copying or editing. The PDF opens freely, but your reader app refuses to print it or copy text. These limits use a second, owner password that you never type. The tool lifts them as soon as you drop the file, no password needed.
If the password is wrong
The tool tells you and keeps what you typed, so you can fix a typo. Bank passwords often follow a pattern from the letter or email that came with the statement, like your date of birth or part of your account number. If you no longer have the password, ask the sender for a new copy.
Is it legal?
