About Heron Kit

Heron Kit is a set of free online tools for everyday files. Today it converts photos. Video, audio, PDF and text tools are on the way.

Your files stay on your device

Most online converters upload your file to a server, process it there and send the result back. Heron Kit works differently. The page loads the tool into your browser, and your browser does the conversion on your phone or computer. The file never travels over the network, so we never see it and have nothing to store or delete.

You can check this yourself: open the Network tab in your browser's developer tools, convert a file and watch the requests.

What you get

• Free tools with no sign-up and no account.
• No watermarks and no daily limits. Each photo can be up to 200 MB on a computer and 50 MB on a phone.
• Batch conversion and a single ZIP download for many files.

How the site pays for itself

Heron Kit will show ads. They will not cover the tool or the download button. We count page views and finished conversions to learn which tools people need. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what we collect.

Who runs it

Heron Kit is a small independent project. If a tool breaks, gives a bad result or is missing, write to hello@heronkit.com.
